Karen, I had lost you over the years, cuzzz. I am glad to hear that you are well. You were one of the very special persons in my school memories. I have thought of you often. Take care and blessings to you my friend. Hope to talk with you soon.
Thanks! We've always had a lot of fun as a family. I have a picture of another young man who was not biologically related, but was such a wonderful part of our family. He was as close as a son to me. We lost Dusty in 2007 to an automobile accident, but he will always be in our hearts. I could not get the picture to load from my disc so I'll have to find the one to scan.
Wow I love the pictures. John looks like you with that wig on. You still look like I remember. You look a lot like Barbara carpenters side of the family.
Karen,
You have the nicest complexion, and OMG, those kids are so cute. Loved the nails your son has on. What a character! Are you reliving the high school years? ha ha When I saw your husband I thought I was looking at a local pharmacist. They could be twins. Keep the pics coming.

Thanks for all the compliments! My kids and my "kids" help me stay young. My "kids" are several from the youth group at church. We used to have them over once a week just to hang out and enjoy being young. When's the last time you had a rat-tail fight in your living room or have been hurdled by a 6'6" boy being chased by his older cousin? Everyone knows how sweet it is to hear a baby laugh, but I'm here to tell you, there is nothing sweeter than hearing teens laugh.
My own kids were always up for anything. They've helped out several times at our reading programs at the library. That explains some of the odd pics of John. He's been everything from my ventriloquist dummy to a punk-goth teen and the town of Augusta's founding father for the sesquecenntinial celebration.
